Carving  Bio:

My interest in carving started about fifteen years ago after attending the Core Sound Decoy Festival. I marveled at the talent shown at the show. I told my wife, Debbie, that I thought I would like to learn that art. I talked with Bruce Collins who I went to church with and learned he had done some carving. He invited me to a Guild meeting and I marveled again at the talent. Members of the Guild including Vic Kirkman, Mark Struco, Bruce and others that I do not remember. At that time our kids were young and we agreed that I should wait until they got out of school to start.  I then met with Vic and after the kids got out of school I started lessons in July of 2000.
